All Day Reader

February is Read-A Million-Minutes month.  The elementary school invited members of the community to read aloud to students on Friday, February 16th.  The readers read stories, poetry, nonfiction, and even the newspaper to the students.  Pictured above is reader Kris Koehnk, librarian for the Montgomery Memorial Library.

Officer Steve Butler of the Ellsworth, Jewell, and Stanhope Police Departments reads. Other readers included Ilene McLuckie, Jewell's Postmaster; Paul Hemphill, South Hamilton Elementary Principal; and Marie Johnson, elementary teacher.
